The Jackson Invitational is not like the other tournaments that are generally held by the Sunday Poker League. Basically, it is open to the general public.
We will let almost anyone play (for the standard buy-in of course) and everyone starts out with the same odds of winning (equal chip stacks). However, it is still necessary to contact us in advance and get an official invite because we cap the attendance. The 2010 Winter Jackson Invitational will be capped at 40.

This should prove to be a very fun evening. However, we are a small league and have some requests to assist with this larger then usual event:
- Please bring your own refreshments.
- Coolers will be provided. (Even some ice!)
- If you have some folding chairs, please bring some. We have limited quantities.
- This is a friendly game. Don't even ask to be invited if you are a bad winner or loser.
After players have been eliminated, cash games and side tournaments will start up, so feel free to stick around as long as you’d like.
We expect a minimum of 20 people, and up to 40. As such, the payouts will change depending upon who shows. Here is a chart of expected payouts for 20 to 40 poker players. It is available in PDF or XPS fromat.
