The Summer Jackson Invitational for 2011 was held on Saturday, June 18th. It had a smaller field than your average Jackson Invitational, but still was able to attract 17 players.
While newcomer Andrew Brown held the chiplead for the majority of the day, after cracking AA early on with A10 suited, he eventually fell in 3rd place (earning $40), leaving the tournaments namesakes to fight it out for the Jackson Invitational crown.
The younger Jackson, Brad, went into heads up play with a 3 to 2 chip advantage, but a quick double up by his father, Mike lead to an insurmountable chip lead that led to Mike capturing the victory and the top prize of $270. His son, Brad, takes home $200 for his efforts.
The tournament lasted 5 and a half hours, full results can be seen in the chart below.
